think indie

strike 1: splash screen.
strike 2: only the caption is clickable on the splash screen.
strike 3: the first thing i see here is a “black sheep” which has nothing to do with the site name or domain name.
strike 4: “prelaunch” is not a word anybody besides the owners of the site give half a damn about.
strike 5: when you’ve put your site on the internet in a way that is accessible to the general public, especially without any special invite system or required account signup, you’ve launched. period. any time before that can qualify as “prelaunch,” semantics of implicit douchebaggery in that word notwithstanding. if the site works, you’ve launched. this is not a bad thing. don’t be afraid of having a workable product; not very many people get that far.
